Your Partner for Mentoring
The right mentor can give a young person an exceptional advantage. Discover how our bespoke mentoring can help them to achieve more.

Introduction
An experienced mentor can give a young person a considerable advantage. They can help someone to understand what success in a particular field requires and begin preparing when others haven't even started. Yet finding someone with the right experience, and who can also hold a student’s attention based on their specific learning style, is not always straightforward.
This is where we can help. Our address book includes Olympians, academics, and mentors in industry. We also work with teachers and recent graduates who can offer a "near-peer" perspective. As your trusted educational partner, we will find a mentor whose experience is relevant to the student and who can give them the knowledge that others may take years to acquire.

How We Work

We get to know them.
We begin with the student. What they enjoy, what they avoid, who they admire, and where they feel stuck tells us more than a school report ever could.

We find the right person.
We search our address book to find a good match. This can take some time, but we prefer to take the time to get things right.

We let the mentoring relationship develop.
Mentoring relationships always change as the student does, but we can adjust things as we go along. Our hope is that, over time, they need less direction because they have learnt to direct themselves.

Frequently Asked Questions
“Is mentoring the same as tutoring?”
No. A mentor may talk about school, reading or a project, but mentoring is much more holistic. Where subject tuition is needed, we arrange that separately.
“What age is mentoring for?”
We usually say anywhere from age 8 upwards, but the right age depends more on maturity and need than on a year group.
“Will you tell us everything they discuss?”
A young person needs some space for the relationship to be their own, within proper safeguarding boundaries. We agree with you at the start what useful updates should look like.
